The Nueces County Sheriff's Office offers four (4) convenient methods to send money to a Nueces County Jail Inmate.

  1. The kiosk is similar to an ATM machine; however, instead of giving money, it takes it and deposits it directly into an inmate's account. The kiosk will accept cash ($5 bills or higher) and credit/debit cards with the VISA/MasterCard logo. The fees for using the machine are as follows:

There is a kiosk located at both the Main Jail lobby (located at 901 Leopard Street) and the McKenzie Annex (located at 745 North Padre Island Drive). These machines will be available for use 24 hours a day.

  2. Visit www.AccessCorrections.com and create an online account to make deposits into an inmate's account. The fees for the online service are as follows:

    NOTE: By using options 1-3, funds will be immediately available to the inmate. The inmate will receive a receipt of the deposit within 3-4 days after the transaction.

    Please Read

    Only Cashier's Checks and Money Orders will be accepted to be posted in an inmate's account. All cashier's checks and money orders will be made payable to the "Inmate Trust Fund," C/O the inmate who is receiving the money. Please include the inmate's date of birth, and inmate's Nueces SID# (Not the State SID#).

    No Personal Checks will be Accepted

    Money, checks, and money orders will NOT be accepted through the Jail Information Booth, nor at the McKinzie Jail Annex, nor during visitation hours.

    All misdirected or improperly filled out money orders and cashier's checks will be returned to the sender.

    Use black or blue pen when filling out the money orders or cashier's checks. Do not use silver, gold, metallics, glitters or other colors of gel pens.

    A special post office box is available strictly for the money orders and cashier's checks.
